Local Artist of the Week: TOMOS NEWMAN 15-07-25

Tomos Newman, from Martletwy, is a talented singer/songwriter, whose work will be familiar to PWR listeners. Still only 19 years of age, he has just released a new EP, Chain of Daisies, recorded at StudiOwz in Clarbeston by owner Owain Fleetwood Jenkins, with production assistance from Frankie Mocklin (of Samana).

Chock a bloc with amazing songs it is available online with hard copies to follow, and the songs from it are featured this week. Tomos chatted to BB about the EP on BB's Local Music Show of Sunday 13th July - available to listen to on Catch-up.

Tomos is already planning another EP which will be recorded again at StudiOwz featuring a stellar line-up of local session musicians including Jack Beddis (drums), Tom Sinnett (bass), and Dan Messore (guitars).

Tomos has also formed a touring band which will have its first outing on Friday 25th July at the Queens Hall, Narberth with support from another talented young man, Connor Jillions and his new band. This gig is onother one from the Young Promoters Pembrokeshire Project.
