NARBERTH HEALTHCARE HUB APPROVED AFTER EARLIER PLANNING REFUSAL
Plans to transform a former art gallery in Narberth into a new multidisciplinary healthcare centre have been given the green light by Pembrokeshire County Council.
The former Kadinsky gallery on Redstone Road will become Winchester House Healthcare, offering a range of services including routine and emergency dentistry, specialist dental treatments, ear, nose and throat (ENT) services, physiotherapy and a dedicated sleep clinic.
The application follows an earlier refusal in April over concerns surrounding parking and highway safety. Revised plans have now addressed those concerns, with the council granting conditional approval.
The project, led by Dr Ahmed Abouserwel, founder of Narberth's Winchester House Dental Practice, is expected to create up to 19 full-time jobs within five years.
The development aims to improve access to healthcare services for residents across Narberth and the wider Pembrokeshire area, while bringing a vacant commercial building back into use.
