Post Office Scandal Choir, through to BGT Final

Pembrokeshire man, Tim Brentnall, from Roch is part of the Post Office Scandal Choir, through to Britain's Got Talent Final.
Tim Brentnall was prosecuted in 2010 after a £22,000 shortfall appeared at his branch — one of 736 sub-postmasters caught up in the Post Office’s faulty Horizon computer system. His conviction was over turned in 2021, after years of campaigning exposed serious flaws in the Horizon IT system, and the way the Post Office handled the cases.
A public inquiry into the scandal is still ongoing. Over 900 sub-postmasters were wrongfully prosecuted after faulty Horizon software made it look as though money was missing from their branch accounts.
A number of the victims were honoured in the King's New Years Honours list. The choir was formed earlier this year to bring together former sub-postmasters affected by the scandal.
Their appearance on Britain’s Got Talent has brought renewed national attention to their experiences and efforts to rebuild.
The group of 39 sub-postmasters who were affected by the scandal performed this evening for the Britain's Got Talent judges. The choir, aptly named Hear Our Voice, performed a special track for the emotional judges and audience.
Tim Brentnall joined Toby Ellis in the studios a year ago telling us his story, you can watch the interview here: https://www.youtube.com/live/dIFUuDi5-HQ
The BGT final airs on ITV this Saturday, May 31st, at 7pm,
