Buckingham Palace has revealed the new Royal cypher of King Charles III.
The new Royal cypher chosen personally by His Majesty, King Charles III will be used on state documents, [some] post boxes and Government departments.
The cypher is the Sovereign's monogram, consisting of the initials of the monarch's name, Charles, and title. Rex - Latin for King, alongside a representation of the crown.
A Scottish version of the cypher has also been revealed which features the Scottish crown.
Where Royal cyphers appear on buildings. it will be up to individual organisations to decide when or if they will be updated.
