Volunteers Week in Pembrokeshire: 1st – 7th June 2023
--
Following on from their Pure West Radio live interview, kick starting Volunteering Week in Pembrokeshire last Thursday, Volunteering Matters (VM) staff, with current and new volunteers met this afternoon at the Haverhub Community Centre for a lively and friendly get together where cakes and refreshments were flowing.
VM Pembrokeshire Engagement Manager Damian Golden with recently in post PIVOT Engagement Manager Franky Black had arranged this get together to celebrate and to thank their incredibly dedicated volunteers for their commitment and support over the last year.
This was also an opportunity to share news, ask the volunteers for their thoughts and ideas and to plan the next get together.
Office Support Volunteer Brenda said:
` today was a really great opportunity for a meet up with other volunteers and looking forward to meeting everyone again at VM stand at the Pembrokeshire County Show on Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th August 2023.’
