Tenby Community Festival Tuesday 24th September to Tuesday 1st October
This year, the community festival will be from Tuesday 24th September to Tuesday 1st October. After the success of last year’s festival, it is hoped that this one will be bigger and better! Already there is going to be a Tenby Male Choir Concert, a play about Nina Hamnet, a ukulele concert, a film, a psychic fair, and an evening of short plays. If anyone or any group would like to hold an event during this week, if they let Anne know on tenbytowncouncil@btconnect.com or 01834 842730, it can go in the programme.
On Saturday 28th September, the free community fun day will be held in Battery Gardens. There will be free activities and competitions to take part in, stalls with advice and information, and more… If you know of someone who might like to have an information stall or run a free activity (or both) just get in touch. As long as it is free, ethical and legal, it should be fine!
On Sunday 29th September, Tenby Civic Society is holding a heritage day in conjunction with Cadw Open Doors. There will be the opportunity to have a look inside buildings normally closed to the public.
It is already looking like a great week of events and fun. Note it in your diaries now!
