Recognition of Pure West Radio's 7th year milestone.
Acknowledgement of a successful birthday bash and thanks extended to all contributors.
Several new projects are in development stages.
Updates to be shared once contracts are signed and confirmed.
Team encouraged to stay excited and involved as plans progress.
Craig officially welcomed to the management team.
Craig brings decades of experience and will assist with music scheduling, playlist compliance (A-list, B-list) and Ofcom regulation alignment.
Craig now participates in Monday management meetings.
Additional support to be rolled out for content team leads H, Dan, and Tom.
Focus on enabling proper downtime and work-life balance for key staff.
Strategy being developed to manage coverage during absences, especially as summer workload increases.
PWRRoom to remain central for up-to-date communications.
Efforts underway to create easier tagging and communication pathways for emergencies or cover needs.
Introduction of Daily Digest emails to improve internal communication.
Helps management monitor workload, spot gaps, and streamline cross-departmental operations.
Ali to provide a future update post-Marathon.
Other team members reminded to feed into Daily Digest as appropriate.
Launching a DAB summer roadshow campaign.
Each major Pembrokeshire town to have a week's worth of live events.
Launch of a Car Sticker Campaign encouraging listeners to promote Pure West Radio DAB.
Successful grant obtained after 7 attempts.
Investment into:
New pop-up displays and event branding
Air conditioning installation
Backup generator for studio continuity
Refresh of studio broadcast equipment (over 7 years old).
Major technical fault (fused cable) identified and fixed at Angle transmitter.
New backend monitoring access granted.
Reduced need for long trips to transmitter site.
Plan to recruit additional services to the DAB multiplex.
Currently hosting Pure West Radio, POS Radio, and Pure Xmas.
More partners needed to share operational costs.
Updates on transmitter repairs and backend access.
Push for software upgrades for scheduling tools.
Launching trial of new website sign-in system.
Testing new digital signage systems for studio visits.
Smart screens and enhanced outside connectivity being explored for studios.
