Press Release: HALF TERM HALLOWEEN FUN AND KIDS STAY FOR FREE AT PEMBROKESHIRE’S MILFORD WATERFRONT
Animal lovers are in for a treat this October half term when Mad4Animals delivers some fun-filled live animal encounters at Pembrokeshire’s Milford Waterfront.
A 60-minute live show featuring a range of incredible animals from around the world, fascinating stories about them and hands-on learning with lots of opportunities to ask questions will take place at Sybil House on Friday 30th October. The show will be followed by a 30-minute meet and greet where you can get even closer to some of the animals and take photos with your favourites. Tickets are priced at £3 for infants, £8.50 for children and £9.50 for adults (booking fees apply).
There’s plenty more to explore around the Waterfront, from the Milford Haven Museum (£4.50 adults, £3.50 children, £12.50 family 2+2, under-fives free), which charts the town’s history from its whaling and fishing industries to its present-day role as an energy port, to free exhibitions at the nationally acclaimed Waterfront Gallery including new for half term, Topographies (24th October to 14th November). For more energetic entertainment, Phoenix Bowl offers ten-pin bowling, new interactive darts, soft play and themed events from £7pp. On Thursday 29th October a Michael Jackson King of Pop Day will include a live tribute performance, a moonwalk competition on the lanes and much more for £15 per person.
At the Torch Theatre, the latest cinema releases will be screening throughout the week; plus, on 31st October, Symphonica Tywi, West Wales’s celebrated 70-piece orchestra, will perform music from some of cinema’s greatest composers at Film Fantastics (tickets £25).
While for those looking to get out and about can also follow one of Milford Haven’s walking trails and circular walk - or head out and explore the coast path.
