Public Invited to Have Their Say on Haverfordwest Walking and Cycling Improvements

Trav Route

Residents and visitors are being encouraged to share their views on potential improvements to walking, wheeling and cycling routes through Haverfordwest.

Pembrokeshire County Council, working alongside Transport for Wales, is gathering feedback on how people currently travel between Haverfordwest Train Station, Old Bridge and Swansquare, as well as how public spaces along the route could be improved.

The area being considered includes Cartlett, Salutation Square Roundabout, the A40 between Aldi and Haverfordwest Public Transport Interchange, Mill Road, the interchange itself, Old Bridge and Swansquare.

No proposals have been drawn up at this stage, with the organisations keen to understand the experiences of those who use the area before developing any designs.

The survey asks people to highlight what currently works well, any difficulties they encounter and what they believe should be taken into account when planning future improvements.

It takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete, and participants can leave out questions that are not relevant to them.

The feedback collected will be used to help shape potential future plans for the route.
