Pure West Radio Announces Milford Youth Matters as Charity of the Year for 2026/27
Pure West Radio is delighted to announce Milford Youth Matters as its Charity of the Year for 2026/27, continuing the station's commitment to supporting local causes and making a positive impact across Pembrokeshire.
The announcement follows a successful year of partnership with Adam's Bucketful of Hope, Pure West Radio's Charity of the Year for 2025/26. Throughout the year, the station worked closely with the charity to raise awareness, generate vital fundraising income, and provide extensive promotional support across its radio, digital, and social media platforms.
A number of high-profile community events contributed towards the partnership's success, including Karting for a Cause, the Blue Lagoon Community Event, and the hugely popular New Year's Raffle at Phoenix Bowl. Together, these initiatives helped generate thousands of pounds for Adam's Bucketful of Hope, while also significantly raising the charity's profile throughout Pembrokeshire and beyond.
In addition to fundraising, Adam's Bucketful of Hope benefited from regular on-air interviews, promotional campaigns, event support, social media coverage, and opportunities to engage with the wider community through Pure West Radio's growing audience.
As one partnership comes to a close, another begins.
Milford Youth Matters will now become Pure West Radio's official Charity of the Year for 2026/27. The charity provides vital support and opportunities for young people across the Milford Haven area, helping them develop confidence, skills, wellbeing, and positive futures through a range of youth-focused projects and initiatives.
Over the next 12 months, Milford Youth Matters will benefit from a programme of fundraising events, promotional campaigns, community engagement opportunities, and extensive media coverage designed to raise awareness of the charity's work and generate much-needed support.
