St Davids Peninsula Carnival

The annual St Davids Peninsula Carnival proved a stunning success on Bank Holiday Monday as Britain’s smallest city enjoyed its biggest turn out for many years.

Huge crowds lined the streets for the parade, led by the carnival band, before heading to St Davids RFC for the judging, music, and entertainment.

The winners were as follows: Children’s float - Porthmawr Surf Lifesaving Club Nippers. Adult float - St David’s Old Farmhouse Brewery with Penninsula produce. 2nd: Penknife Club with Dad’s Army 3rd: WI Cavewomen Best dressed: Under 6 girls: Hermione Granger (Ela) Boys: Ninja Turtle Gene Evans Female: ‘The fish’ Male: Captain Robin Copley Best group: Little Red Riding Hood
