About Beats Motel!

What do you do at Pure West Radio?

How did you get into radio?

I've been a music producer since the 1980s. I began in radio by creating community health and wellbeing programmes for Cardigan based Area 43 Radio. I responded to the call for contributors from Toby's original Pure West founders request. Since then, I've helmed almost 200 Beats Motel shows. The show began as a Hip-Hop and reggae show. Over time, it has evolved into a 2 hour sonic journey at the cusp of every Saturday night into Sunday morning. A movie for the ears.
