What do you do at Pure West Radio?

How did you get into radio?

I was previously in a band and I wanted to do something to help promote unsigned music and the local music scene as there wasn’t much in Pembrokeshire at the time to assist local musicians. So I approached an internet radio station who then offered me a position hosting a show specialising in just that. The rest is history

Who is your hero?

Steve Irwin

What is your biggest fear?

Going to someone’s house for dinner and finding out that they’re cooking a lasagna full of onions and mushrooms. Blurgh

Australia

What would you change about yourself if you could?

I give great advice. I have all the answers to everyone’s problems... but I can’t take my own

What makes you really angry?

People who pick up their dog poo but then throw the bag in the bush

What motivates you to work hard?

I motivate myself. Good things don’t come to those who wait, they come to those who earn them

What is your favourite thing about your life?

My family

What is your proudest accomplishment?

Building a platform to promote hard working, talented unsigned and up and coming musician. I was one once, so I’m proud to be on the other side and be able to promote.

Jared Leto

One thing people might be surprised to know about you?

I'm also a qualified zoologist. Zoology was my first career before moving to radio
