What do you do at Pure West Radio?

How did you get into radio?

It all started with one simple email and lots of hard work. Each day learning and experiencing something new which is what initially drew me in.

Where is your favourite place in Pembrokeshire?

Anywhere with sand and sea or alternatively a pretty view. 

Who is your hero?

I wouldn’t say that I have one, I have people that I’m inspired by or look up to. When it comes to a hero though, I believe you should be your own. 

What is your biggest fear?

Drowning because I still cannot swim. Unless doggy paddling counts...?

Where is your favourite place to visit in the world?

Given my lack of travel experience I’d say currently London or Scotland. I do dream of one day travelling to Italy though.

What would you change about yourself if you could?

I would change the way I see myself, everyone is so self critical but everyone is also beautiful in someone’s eyes. 

What really makes you angry?

Cancel culture which really in my opinion is just a fancy word for bullying. 

What motivates you to work hard?

The love and passion I have for what I do as well as the people. The people I work with who inspire me to always do better and the listeners. 

What is your favourite thing about your life?

The sky, whether it’s filled with stars or mixtures of peach, pinks and purples it is always something that brings me joy and helps me to feel grounded. 

What is your proudest accomplishment?

My proudest accomplishment overall is just being able to get over my fears to put myself out there. 

Who is the most famous person you've met?

Sadly I have no exciting famous stories to tell. I’ll have to wait and see what’s upcoming. 

One thing people might be surprised to know about you? 

I can play the ukulele and recommend it to anyone that’s searching for a new instrument to learn or even for a first. It’s super fun and easy to learn.
