What do you do at Pure West Radio?

How did you get into radio?
I've always been interested in music, acting, broadcasting and entertainment.
I started presenting a Facebook show on my HelloTomDyer Facebook page during lockdown with my sister, Abz, to provide a lunchtime distraction for people working from home.
I contacted Pure West Radio to see if they would share what I was up to, to help others through lockdown, and they asked if I wanted to present a show!
I started in August 2020 and haven't looked back! I love it!

Will Smith
What is your biggest fear?
Failure
Where is your favourite place to visit in the world?
Probably Disneyland
What would you change about yourself if you could?
Longer hair at the front
What makes you angry?
People not living their full potential
What motivates you to work hard?
Being the best that I can be for myself and to others.
What is your favourite thing about your life?
That I have one. I can experience anything
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Facing multiple fears. Starting acting, singing, businesses, challenge events and supporting others through advice and support for a cancer charity and coach
Who is the most famous person you've met?
Nearly got trodden on by Russell Crowe on Freshwater West and shook Sir Terry Wogan’s hand in Pembroke Castle
One thing people might be surprised to know about you?
I'm fortunate enough to work behind the scenes on the Pure West Sports Show and Making Noise!
I also coach others using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution Focus Principles.
And lastly, I'm a Digital Marketer and Project Manager!
I’ve been learning Welsh since joining Pure West Radio!
(And something really interesting; I lived in Saudi Arabia as a toddler!)
