Visit Milford Haven Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Business and Street Dressing Competitions Launched
Visit Milford Haven is encouraging businesses and streets get in the spirit for the upcoming Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a friendly decoration competition.
After the success of the Christmas Business Window Dressing competition, Visit Milford Haven is once again coordinating a friendly contest worthy of a royal seal of approval. With so many festivities planned in Milford Haven to celebrate this momentous occasion, including events and street parties, Visit Milford Haven will be offering a prize for the best dressed business, and also a prize for the best dressed street.
It’s free to enter and open to businesses and streets in Milford Haven and surrounding areas from Herbrandston to Neyland, and everywhere in between.
Judging for the best dressed business and best dressed street will take place on 1st June by the Mayor of Milford Haven, Cllr Kathy Gray.
Jayne Hancock from Visit Milford Haven said, “It was fabulous taking the Mayor, Cllr Kathy Gray, around to judge the Christmas windows and Milford Haven definitely came out in strength to celebrate that event, and so we are looking forward to Milford Haven and surrounding areas creating ‘Right Royal’ celebrations as part of this unique event in history.”
So, if you’re planning on turning your business into a palace, or think you have the most ‘Royal Road’, ‘Crown-worthy Cul-de-sac’, or a ‘Street fit for a Sovereign’, please send a message to the Visit Milford Haven Facebook page to enter by Monday 30th May.
