Fishguard Bay Food Festival returns on Saturday 11th October 2025

The Fishguard Bay Food Festival makes its much-anticipated return to Ysgol Bro Gwaun on Saturday 11th October 2025, running from 10am to 5pm, with a vibrant celebration of this year’s theme, “Food is Community: Local Flavours. Shared Futures.” The festival will bring together the very best of West Wales’s food culture, showcasing the people, skills, and stories that make our local food scene so special.

Visitors can browse the lively Local Producers Market, brimming with fresh produce, artisan treats, and unique food and drink from across the region. A programme of chef demonstrations and talks will offer inspiration and tips from some of Pembrokeshire’s most talented cooks, while family cookery sessions with Cegin y Bobl invite children and adults alike to get hands-on with outdoor cooking.

For those curious about traditional techniques, fermenting workshops will reveal the flavours
and health benefits of this ancient craft, while a foraging walk and activity will encourage festivalgoers to connect with the landscape, discover edible plants, and learn how wild ingredients can enhance everyday cooking.

Outdoors, the air will be filled with the tempting aromas of street food from around the world, with live entertainment bringing energy and atmosphere throughout the day. Adding to the excitement, Pure West Radio will be broadcasting live from the event, sharing interviews, music, and festival highlights with listeners across the county.

The celebrations continue into the evening with two exciting events: at Theatr Gwaun, “Cultivating and Nourishing Our Community from Plot to Plate” will explore how our food choices can help create a healthier, more sustainable world, featuring contributions from Cegin Hedyn, Cegin y Bobl, and Parc Cerrig. Meanwhile, over at POINT Youth Club, a popup pizzeria will be serving fresh, handmade pizzas - a perfect way to round off a day of community, conversation, and great food. Events, workshops and talks will be available to book from mid-September.

Organised by the Fishguard Bay Sustainable Food Initiative, the festival brings together local
businesses, community groups, and passionate food lovers to champion Pembrokeshire’s
food heritage and future.
