Police and Crime Commissioner Announces Policing Precept Level for 2026-27
Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn has today (23 January 2026) confirmed the police precept for 2026/27 following a meeting of the Dyfed-Powys Police and Crime Panel. As part of his role the Commissioner sets the police budget, including the police precept, the element of council tax that helps fund local policing.

Cardigan Same Day Urgent Care Service to Temporarily Extend Hours Over Next Two Weekends
Responding to the increased demands on the healthcare system in Hywel Dda, the Same Day Urgent Care (SDUC) service at Cardigan Integrated Care Centre (SA43 1JX) will temporarily extend its opening hours again over the next two weekends (Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 January and Saturday 31 January and Sunday 1 February) to help support local communities.
