An enthusiastic swimming team, Albion Star, has successfully swum across St. Brides Bay this week at its widest point – over 15 kilometres – in under 5 hours. The relay team of four was made up of strong and experienced cold-water sea swimmers: Laura Voller, Elspeth Lewis, Fiona Coombs, and David Anderson.

Local Welsh Parliament Member Paul Davies has recently attended a Young Farmers’ Clubs (YFC) showcase at the Senedd. The event was sponsored by neighbouring Senedd Member Samuel Kurtz and celebrated the impressive work being carried out by the young farmers' clubs to support and empower young people across Wales.

Cancer patients and their families were at the Senedd this week to discuss the top five priorities that matter most to them with Tenovus Cancer Care. Local Senedd Member Paul Davies joined fellow MSs and supporters from across Wales to hear more from patients and their clinicians on what they want from cancer services.

The contribution of Wales’s Young Farmers’ Clubs to rural youth life was recognised at a special event in the Senedd today, marking the movement’s achievement of the Bronze Quality Mark for Youth Work.
