Pembrokeshire’s Children and Young People’s Rights Office (CYPRO) is proud to announce the launch of a new mental and emotional health, and well-being resource for schools.

Pupils in years 7-11 at Ysgol Harri Tudur in Pembrokeshire took part in a hands-on experience of CPR and defibrillator skills on February 2^nd, as part of St John Ambulance Cymru’s Defibruary campaign.

The hunt is on for inspirational children and young people in Pembrokeshire – as well as those dedicated to caring for them – as nominations open for the 2026 WellChild Awards, which seek to recognise those with complex care needs alongside the people who support them

At its Board meeting today (29 January 2026), Hywel Dda University Health Board has approved its refreshed long‑term strategy, ‘A Healthier Mid and West Wales – Healthier lives, well lived’.  

Thanks to generous donations to Hywel Dda Health Charities, the official charity of Hywel Dda University Health Board, parents and carers of children and young people supported by the Wish Fund have been able to attend a wellbeing day at St Brides Hotel and Spa.
