A freeport bid consortium consisting of Associated British Ports, Neath Port Talbot Council, Pembrokeshire County Council and the Port of Milford Haven has been launched to explore the case for a green freeport in South-West Wales.

A group of coastal managers from across Wales gathered at Strumble recently to learn more about nature conservation efforts on the coastal slopes of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and how they’ve benefitted the local chough population and other wildlife.

Visitors to Canaston Woods may have been in for a big surprise recently, as the ancient woodland played host to Pembrokeshire’s largest health and wellbeing walk ever, with over 60 people in attendance.

Schools and most services run by Pembrokeshire County Council will be closed or paused on Bank Holiday Monday (September 19th) as a mark of respect for the late HM Elizabeth II.
