Volunteers from Fishguard RNLI were called to the incident at Fishguard lower town quay where a yacht with one person on board was aground.

Cleif Harpwood was a member of legendary Welsh band Edward H Dafis (there was no one of that name in the band) from the '70s and '80s. The band has become a huge influence on the development of Welsh rock music and EDM, especially the likes of Gorky's and the Super Furries.

The Haverfoodfest was a triumph this year. So much so that many food stalls sold out before I could get to them! One of our favourite cuisines is Middle Eastern and I was disappointed not to get a fix. 

The World’s last seagoing paddle steamer, Waverley, today began her 2026 sailing season as the famous ship departed Glasgow to mark 80 years since her launch on the Clyde in 1946.
