To celebrate Pure West Radio's 8th Birthday, I asked members to vote on a poll for their favourite cake for me to bake. This brownie bake was a firm winner!

This was Jill’s first attempt at making a cake in the air fryer, and she was very happy with the result! You can use your own type of chocolate or add flavourings of your choice, but for a first try, Jill recommends keeping it simple. This first air fryer bake resulted in a crispy outside and a gooey, lava-like inside — delicious!

Simnel Cake is perfect for Easter. Not as rich as a heavy fruit cake and the added marzipan layer is an extra treat! – get your little ones to roll out the marzipan balls whilst telling them the story behind why there is only 11.
